Ramadan Food Programme
Feed the fasting in 33 countries this Ramadan
In 2026, Islamic Relief will provide food packs in 33 countries and distribute 222,110 food packs to households that will feed approximately 1.18 million people over the month of Ramadan. Our Ramadan food packs contain food items depending on the local diet; however, each pack typically contains staple foods such as rice, wheat, lentils, oil, sugar, canned fish and dates. Where malnutrition and food insecurity are prevalent, we aim to increase the amount of food in these packages to ensure that they contain enough food of sufficient nutritional value.

Eid Gifts
Bring a smile to a child's face
The children who will receive these Eid gifts are children who are facing poverty and the consequences of conflict. The global project consists of projects across 18 countries with gifts varying for each location. An Eid gift pack can include clothing, shoes, toys, school education kits, stationary, educational materials and sports equipment.41,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 96,000 have been left injured. This Ramadan, we will continue to support the people of Gaza with lifesaving aid and support them in rebuilding their lives as soon as possible

Palestine: Emergency Response
Provide life-saving aid for those affected by the violence in Gaza
Since October 7th, Gaza has faced relentless violence, leaving widespread devastation, mass displacement and profound loss of life, with children among the most affected. Alongside bombardment, a total siege and blockade have driven catastrophic hunger, with famine declared and over a million people facing starvation. Despite severe access restrictions, Islamic Relief continues to deliver lifesaving aid, including food, water and psychosocial support. As families endure unimaginable hardship, urgent assistance remains critical to help protect lives, dignity and hope.

Palestine: Health Projects
Support mothers and babies with vital medical aid in Gaza
Gaza’s healthcare system is under extreme strain, leaving thousands of pregnant women without access to safe deliveries, skilled medical care or essential postnatal support. Many are forced to give birth in dangerous conditions, risking their lives and their babies’. Islamic Relief is providing urgent maternal healthcare to support mothers before and after birth. For children needing specialist treatment unavailable in Gaza, Islamic Relief is also supporting medical evacuations to the UK. Your support helps protect mothers and children with lifesaving care and dignity.

Palestine: Mobile Medical Clinic
Bring livesaving medical care to people in Gaza
Gaza’s healthcare system has been severely weakened, leaving thousands of injured and chronically ill people unable to access vital treatment. With hospitals damaged, overwhelmed or out of reach, Islamic Relief is deploying a Mobile Medical Clinic to bring lifesaving care directly to displaced communities. Fully equipped to provide emergency treatment, trauma care and urgent procedures, the clinic operates in unstable environments where services no longer function. Your support helps deliver dignified, professional medical care to people in Gaza when they need it most.

Palestine: Sadaqah Jariyah
Support children and families in Gaza
Ongoing violence in Gaza has left around 39,000 children without parents or guardians. Through its Orphan Sponsorship Programme, Islamic Relief supports these vulnerable children with food, healthcare, psychosocial care and regular cash assistance to help families meet essential needs with dignity. Alongside this, Islamic Relief supports tree planting initiatives that preserve Palestine’s deep-rooted olive farming heritage. Olive trees sustain livelihoods, strengthen food security and symbolise resilience, culture and hope—helping families remain connected to their land and rebuild for the future.

Syria Crisis Appeal
Provide Bread and Emergency Surgeries
After more than a decade of conflict, Syrian families continue to face displacement, harsh living conditions and severe food and healthcare shortages. Food insecurity remains widespread, with bread production disrupted by damaged bakeries and rising costs. Islamic Relief is restoring and establishing bakeries to provide daily fresh bread, improve food security and create livelihoods. At the same time, it is supporting life-saving cardiac care in Idlib, supplying vital equipment and enabling complex heart surgeries for patients with no other options.

Sudan
Emergency Appeal
Nearly three years of conflict have plunged Sudan into the world’s largest humanitarian and displacement crisis. An estimated 15 million people have been forced from their homes, over half of them children, many living in dire camp conditions. Food insecurity now affects more than half the population, alongside severe shortages of clean water and basic necessities. Islamic Relief is responding with lifesaving aid, including food, emergency shelter, WASH support and essential supplies, helping displaced and returning families survive and rebuild with dignity.

Yemen
Provide Food and Nutrition
Yemen’s food crisis has been driven by years of conflict, economic collapse and rising food prices, leaving millions struggling to survive. In late 2023, the suspension of major food assistance in northern Yemen deepened the crisis for families who rely entirely on aid. Islamic Relief is responding by providing cash assistance and food vouchers to vulnerable households, particularly women and children. This support helps families access food with dignity, reduces the risk of starvation, and protects lives amid an escalating humanitarian emergency.

Bangladesh
Children's Education and Skills Training
More than 36,000 Rohingya refugees live on Bhasan Char island, where basic services exist but opportunities for children remain extremely limited. Education and child protection needs are largely unmet, putting young people at risk. Islamic Relief is responding by providing early childhood education, schooling and skills development for children aged 3–18. The programme creates safe learning environments, supports volunteer teachers, and equips adolescents—especially girls—with practical skills like sewing, helping children learn, grow and build hope for the future.

Somalia
Cataracts Project
In Dinsoor and Bardhere, limited economic opportunities, poor market infrastructure and climate shocks leave families struggling to earn a living. Women traders and people with disabilities are especially affected by unsafe, inaccessible market spaces and lack of financial services. Islamic Relief is supporting livelihood recovery by improving market facilities and establishing Village Savings and Loan Associations. These groups provide business training, capital grants and shared savings, helping communities strengthen incomes, improve food security and build resilience against droughts and floods.

Pakistan
Providing Water for Life in Pakistan
In Mirpur Khas, Pakistan, access to safe drinking water is a serious challenge, with all available sources heavily contaminated and unsafe to consume. This puts children, pregnant women and vulnerable groups at high risk of waterborne disease. The crisis is driven by poor infrastructure, climate shocks and limited hygiene awareness. Islamic Relief is responding by repairing water facilities, installing solar-powered water systems and promoting hygiene education, helping over 8,000 people access clean, safe water and improved health.
