Islamic Relief UK is an international NGO founded in 1984. We are the only Muslim charity member of the DEC. Our aim is to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people. 

<h2>What is happening in Palestine right now?</h2> The healthcare system in Gaza has been severely weakened. Hospitals are overwhelmed, medical facilities have been damaged, and many families have been displaced far from places where care is still available. As a result, thousands of people — including those with serious injuries, urgent surgical needs, and long-term health conditions — are unable to access the medical treatment they desperately need. <h2>Islamic Relief is on the ground&nbsp;</h2> To respond to this urgent gap, Islamic Relief is deploying a Mobile Medical Clinic that can reach displaced communities and provide life-saving medical care where hospitals are no longer able to function. The clinic is designed to operate independently in difficult and unstable environments, allowing medical teams to deliver urgent treatment directly to those who would otherwise go without care. <img src="https://amanahfy-prod.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/admin-image-1769731561941.jpeg"> The mobile clinic is fully equipped to carry out emergency procedures, trauma care, wound treatment, and other critical medical interventions. By bringing medical services directly to affected communities, the clinic also helps relieve pressure on the few remaining hospitals that are still operating. Each patient treated through this project receives professional, dignified medical care — often including surgery — delivered by trained medical staff using specialist equipment and essential medicines. Your support helps Islamic Relief deliver urgent, life-saving healthcare to people in Gaza who have been cut off from medical services, ensuring they receive treatment with dignity at a time of immense need. <h2>How are we delivering aid in Gaza?</h2> For 28 years, Islamic Relief has been working tirelessly to deliver emergency aid, health services, education, and long-term development in Gaza. We have a fully established local team on the ground and work in coordination with local humanitarian partner organisations and UN partners to deliver on programmes. Good coordination with other organisations is vital to avoid duplication of work and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the humanitarian response. Our heroic team on the ground in Gaza are delivering vital services and are exploring every avenue to secure supplies locally to continue urgently needed humanitarian responses.
