Islamic Relief UK is an international NGO founded in 1984. We are the only Muslim charity member of the DEC. Our aim is to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people. 

Every child deserves the best start in life: a happy home, a safe place to play and access to quality education, medical care, and nutrition- donate to our orphans fund today! Currently&nbsp;1 in 5 children worldwide are living in extreme poverty, and do not have access to these simple necessities and rights. Instead, their life is incredibly challenging, with the risk of illiteracy, disease, child labour, lifelong poverty and even death. According to UNICEF, 1 in 4 of the world’s children live in a conflict or disaster zone. At Islamic Relief, we don’t believe in simply providing one-off care to support children and orphans in need. Instead, we use your donations to invest in their future and provide long-term support for their families, carers, and local communities to provide long-lasting, safe sustainable solutions to poverty and inequality. <img src="https://amanahfy-prod.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/admin-image-1772148130569.jpeg"> The loss of one or both parents can be a traumatic experience for any child, regardless of the circumstances. However, in countries where war, famine, or poverty is an everyday occurrence, millions of children are left orphaned and struggle to survive. Since 1986, supporting orphans and children has played an integral part in Islamic Relief’s mission to alleviate poverty around the world. We believe that every child deserves a positive start in life and the hope for a bright future. <h2>Orphan Sponsorship&nbsp;in Pakistan&nbsp;</h2> Our Orphan Sponsorship Programme transforms the lives of vulnerable children and their families across Pakistan, providing them with monthly stipends that help them get food, shelter, education,&nbsp;healthcare&nbsp;and other necessities.&nbsp; Since 1994, Islamic Relief has sponsored more than 20,000 orphans&nbsp;who have lost one or both parents&nbsp;in Pakistan, and as of 2024, the programme currently supports over 6,000 children in the region.&nbsp; We also provide higher education scholarships, which have enabled 340 young people to pursue university degrees, giving them the opportunity to build brighter futures.&nbsp;Your support helps children access essential services, heal from loss, and grow with confidence.&nbsp; When you support an orphan with Islamic Relief, the child will have access to education, healthcare, nourishment, and most importantly, the knowledge that someone cares deeply for their well-being and future.&nbsp;
